In the village of Atamo, Flight Lieutenant (Flt/Lt) Andrew Doig, a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Dentist extracting teeth at a dental clinic, he was assisted by Corporal (Cpl) Jane Roberts, Royal Australian Army Medical Corps (RAAMC) who were both members of the multinational Peace Monitoring Group (PMG).
