Studio portrait of Second Lieutenant (2nd Lt) George William McQueen, 14th Battalion, of Hamilton, Vic. 2nd Lt McQueen embarked aboard HMAT Hororata on 15 April 1915. He was killed in action on 29 March 1917 near Villers Bretonneux in France.
