Description
Studio portrait possibly of 4794 Private (Pte) Gordon Dow, 5th Battalion, of South Melbourne. Pte Dow enlisted on 15 July 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Themistocoles on 28 January 1916. On 10 February 1917 he was killed in action near Pozieres in France.
