Description
Studio portrait of 1769 Private (Pte) Stanley McDonald, 24th Battalion, of Nagambie, Vic. Pte McDonald enlisted on 20 May 1915 and returned to Australia on 8 April 1919. His younger brother 127 Pte Fenley John McDonald, 7th Battalion, was killed at Gallipoli within a week of the landing on 25 April 1915.
