Description
Studio portrait of 1200 Private (Pte) Harry Conrad Wetzel, 22nd Battalion, of Daylesford, Vic. Pte Wetzel enlisted on 10 April 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Ulysses on 8 April 1915. On 17 September 1917 Corporal Wetzel was killed in action at Westhoek Ridge in the Ypres area of Belgium.
