Description
Studio portrait of 2258 Private (Pte) Stanley Gordon Brown, 22nd Battalion, of Oakleigh, Vic, with a pipe in his mouth. Pte Brown enlisted on 16 July 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Hororata on 27 September 1915. On 3 October 1917 he was killed in action during the Battle of Passchendaele, Belgium.
