Description
Studio portrait probably of 1717 Private (Pte) Walter David Moss, 2nd Reinforcements, 25th Battalion, of Bagotville, Richmond River, NSW, dressed in civilian clothing. Pte Moss enlisted on 17 June 1915 and embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Shropshire on 20 August 1915. He was killed in action on 2 July 1918 at Villers-Bretonneux, France.
