Description
Two unidentified Australian Light Horse soldiers sitting on some captured ammunition limbers in a limber park somewhere in Palestine. The limbers are horse drawn and would usually carry 7.5 cm and 7.7 cm shells for German built field guns. The limbers are of German manufacture and were probably used by Turkish forces before being captured by the Australians. Note the building in the background with the canteen sign.
