Description
Studio portrait of 2902 Private (Pte) Charles Woods, 9th Reinforcements, 6th Battalion, of Railton, Tas. Pte Woods enlisted on 1 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Star of Victoria on 10 September 1915. He was later promoted to lance corporal and returned to Australia on 2 March 1919.
