Don't Waste Here the Fuel You Save at Home
Description
British Second World War poster, designed by well known propaganda artist 'Fougasse', issued by the Ministry of Fuel and Power for display in factories. It shows a painter changing words in a slogan, reminding staff to save fuel at work as well as at home. Posters with messages such as this were common all around the world during the war, as goods such as oil and fuel were severely limited owing to their use in war-related areas.
