Save Fuel for Battle: The Husband Who Wasted the Hot Water
Description
British Second World War poster issued by the Ministry of Fuel and Power, depicting a man shaving at wash basin while hot water runs into an almost full bathtub, while an angry woman peers around the door, aimed at encouraging restrictions in the domestic use of gas and coal in order to provide more fuel for essential war-related use (British people were restricted to only 3 inches depth of bathwater).
