Description
Ten letters written between 6 December 1940 and 3 January 1943 by (NX79938) Lance Corporal Douglas Graham Wynthes of the 2/1st Mechanical Equipment Company (Australian Engineers) to his sister, Flora, all from Australian locations. Also included are two letters to Flora Wynthes from (W2148) WA2 Mary Fryer (?), Royal New Zealand Air Force, and one letter from 'Minnie G'. Additional items comprise five First World War period picture postcards associated with 'ARR' and Violet Mary Robinson and a Second World War photographic portrait of 'Wally Mond'.
