Description
Second World War poster produced for the Camouflage Research Section, Department of Home Security Canberra. It was designed by the artist Frank Hinder who worked for the section during the war. Hinder employed simple, humorous designs to convey important fundamentals of camouflage. In this case a row of birds on the branch of a tree, and a stalker creeping up on them, humorously reminding the viewer that it is safer to disperse and separate than be clustered together.
