Into action
Description
This British Second World War poster was created around 1942-1943 to help stir up patriot sentiment on the home front. The poster depicts a flight of Bristol Beaufighters strafing and bombing some of Field Marshal Rommel's Afrika Korps as they retreated in north Africa as a result of the Allied invasion, triggered by Operation Torch. These posters entitled 'Into action' were part of a series aimed at continuing support for soldiers fighting on the front line.
