For friendly advice refer to your local repatriation committee
Description
At the end of the First World War, there was tremendous difficulty faced by authorities in finding work for soldiers repatriated to Australia. When it came to the Second World War, there was greater organised in this project from the outset, with various bodies and institutes being established to assist returning soldiers in gaining employment. This Second World War poster promotes the role of local repatriation committees set up around Australia in providing a place for 'ex-servicemen and women' to consult professionals for advice enabling them greater opportunity to return to the workforce.
