Representing 78 Fighter Wing RAAF, Flight Lieutenant Peter Pearson, all rounder from Mosman, NSW (left) and Leading Aircraftman Ken Pflugrath of Coorparoo, Qld made the winning runs in the final of the Governor's Cup cricket competition. The RAAF team won the competition three years running while the Wing was stationed in Malta between 1952 and 1954.
