Two members of 78 Fighter Wing RAAF enjoy a laugh on location with some of the cast from the feature film The Malta Story. The Wing was stationed in Malta for garrison duty between 1952 and 1954. Identified left to right: actor Anthony Steel, who played an RAF Commanding Officer in the film; Pilot Officer Reg Jones of North Sydney, NSW; actress Muriel Pavlow; Flying Officer Les Reading DFC of Perth, WA; and the other female lead in the film, Renee Asherton.
