78 Fighter Wing RAAF pilots Flying Officer Les Reading, DFC of Cunderdin, WA and Sergeant Barry Weymouth of Footscray, Vic, admire the squadron emblem on the side of a French Vampire aircraft flown in to their airfield in Malta by Lieutenant Eric Questiau of the French Air Force. The RAAF and the French Air Force worked together in the NATO exercise Operation Drago.
