Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II shakes hands with His Excellency the Governor and Commander in Chief of Malta, Sir Robert Laycock KCMG, CB, DSO, on her arrival at the Royal Navy Station at Hal Far in Malta. She was on a tour of the Commonwealth. At the time 78 Fighter Wing RAAF was based in Malta while undertaking garrison duty.
