Description
Studio portrait of 2411 Private (Pte) William Leslie Lovell, 7th Reinforcements, 14th Battalion, of Hamilton, Vic (standing). Pte Lovell enlisted on 28 May 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard RMS Persia on 10 August 1915. He was wounded at Pozieres in August 1916 and was killed in action at Bullecourt, France, on 11 April 1917.
