Description

Australian and New Zealand pilots examine a model of an airborne lifeboat in the safety equipment section of the RAF Station in Cyprus. The Australians were in Cyprus for five weeks of armament practice. Identified left to right: Flying Officer Les Reading DFC of Perth, WA, who was the Safety Equipment Officer of 78 Fighter Wing RAAF; Sergeant Rodney Dahlberg of Cambridge, New Zealand; Pilot Officer (PO) John Myers of Waverley, NSW; and PO John Tanner of Auckland, New Zealand.
