Ground staff of 78 Fighter Wing RAAF, along with a pilot seated in a Meteor aircraft, wait for the signal to get the plane airborne immediately so as to intercept 'enemy' aircraft (to 'scramble') during NATO Exercise November Moon. The starter battery is plugged in ready for the signal. The Wing is in Malta for garrison duty.
