Re-opening of communication services to the continent...
Description
This poster was issued by the General Post Office to inform British Citizens of the resumption of communication services to continental Europe. This is one of a series of GPO wartime posters to feature a decorative border designed by British artist Barnett Freedman. Freedman was appointed a British official war artist in 1940.
