Sergeant Eric McLean of Schofields, NSW shakes hands with world speedway champion Jack Young of Newcastle, NSW, and congratulates him on his brilliant riding after Australia defeated England in the first Speedway Test at Norwich speedway. Looking on are four other airmen from 78 Fighter Wing RAAF. Identified left to right (back): Sergeant Glen Stockham of Kilburn, NSW; Leadig Aircraftman John Hughes of Burwood, NSW; Corporal (Cpl) Lyall Willis of Launceston, Tas; and Cpl Pat Hogan of Brisbane, Qld. A detachment of the Wing is in England to take part in the RAF Royal Review air pageant.
