Description
British Second World War poster advising people to save rubber. As the war dragged on and German U-Boats were disrupting vital trade with America in the North Atlantic, Britain experienced an acute shortage of necessary goods. Rubber was important for making tyres, among other things. This poster encourages people to recycle their rubber boots.
The poster is dominated by a large central image of a pair of black and orange wellington boots. The title is printed across the boots with more text below.
