Four members of 78 Fighter Wing RAAF with their young charges during a Christmas party that the Wing gave for about 100 orphans and poor children at its base in Malta. Each airman looked after one child for the afternoon. Identified left to right: Corporal (Cpl) Roy Lowry of Rockhampton, Qld; Cpl Ken Caffrey of Mildura, Vic; Warrant Officer Bill Bell of Brighton, Vic; and Leading Aircraftman Ken Fulton of Geelong, Vic. The Wing was in Malta for garrison duty.
