Description
This poster was issued by Commonwealth Food Control as part of a campaign to increase Australia's milk production to support the war effort. One of a series of posters aimed at Diary Farmers it informs farmers that the Government has allotted first priority in manpower to the dairy industry, increased the butter, cheese, milk and fertiliser subsidies, organised machinery pools and completed marketing agreements until the end of 1948. For further advice farmer's are directed to contact their local Agricultural Committee or Butter Factory Manager.
