Description
Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN), USN and RAN personnel preparing equipment and planning diving and demolition operations aboard a Vietnamese patrol craft. Seated at right and unrolling detonator cord is R62713 Able Seaman Clearance Diver (ABCD) Bogdan Kaszimierz Wojcik, RAN Clearance Diving Team 3 (CDT 3), Seventh Contingent. ABCD Wojcik was accidentally killed in a motor vehicle accident at Cam Ranh Bay, SVN, in June 1970. Apart from destroying enemy river barricades and mines, much of the team's time was devoted to checking merchant vessels for attached explosives and detecting the activities of enemy divers.
