Description
A South Vietnamese naval patrol craft carrying a mixed group of SVN soldiers, USN personnel and RAN members of Clearance Diving Team 3 (7th contingent). Seated at right and unrolling detonator cord is Able Seaman (AB) Bogdan Kazimierz Wojcik, (CDT 3), seventh contingent. AB Wojcik was accidentally killed in a motor vehicle accident at Cam Ranh Bay, SVN, in June 1970. Apart from destroying enemy river barricades and mines much of the team's time was devoted to checking the hulls of merchant vessels for attached explosives and detecting the activities of enemy divers.
