Description
Sergeant Morgan (left), 17 Field Troop, 3rd Combat Engineer Regiment, holding an unfused hand grenade discovered during a weapons search of a local street. Accompanied by members of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), the soldiers are serving as part of Australia's contribution to the Unified Task Force (UNTAF) in Somalia. The men are wearing full combat uniform and protective body armour and the soldier in the doorway (left) is carrying a Steyr F88 rifle.
