Aerial view of an Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) fort surrounded by river flats and farms. The triangular fort is ringed by several defensive water filled ditches and barbed wire fences. A soldier, on lookout, is positioned at each apex and the central, raised fort area is almost completely filled with thatched huts. A volley ball match is taking place in the courtyard and a smaller outpost, of the same design, is connected by a footbridge over small canal. No roads or vehicles can be seen and their absence indicates the outpost was probably supplied by river transport.
