Description
Studio portrait of 2663 Private (Pte) William Edmond Lamont, 8th Reinforcements, 15th Battalion, of Toowong, Qld, wearing a greatcoat. Pte Lamont enlisted on 20 May 1915 and embarked from Brisbane aboard HMAT Kyarra on 16 August 1915. He later served as a lance corporal and returned to Australia on 28 March 1919.
