Description

USN, RAN and Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) personnel attaching Mark 8 hose charges to wooden stakes driven into the river bed of a tributary by the Viet Cong to interrupt local traffic. The Australians, members of Clearance Diving Team 3 (CDT 3), occasionally worked in conjunction with the Americans and ARVN, and were responsible for detecting and clearing enemy obstructions and mines in the delta area. The only man identified is Warrant Officer (WO) Norm Garron USN Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD).
