Studio portrait of NX58428 Corporal (Cpl) Harold Ramsay Cazneaux, 9 Divisional Signals Company. A radio mechanic of Roseville, NSW, Cpl Cazneaux enlisted on 22 July 1940. Cpl Cazneaux died at the siege of Tobruk on 14 September 1941, aged 21. This photograph was taken by Cpl Cazneaux's father, Australian photographer Harold Pierce Cazneaux, shortly before Cpl Cazneaux left Australia.
