Description
Studio portrait probably of 4864 Private (Pte) William Parsons, 15th Reinforcements, 8th Battalion, of Shepparton, Vic. Pte Parsons enlisted on 3 November 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Wiltshire on 7 March 1915. On 19 July 1916 he was killed in action at Fromelles in France.
