Description
Two letters, dated 16 October and 14 December 1943, written by (QX55461) Corporal John 'Jack' Glynn of 2/15 Infantry Battalion, to his sister, 'Peg', while serving in the New Guinea campaign. Includes good descriptions of locations, Morobe, Milne Bay and Buna. The second letter contains details of the writer's part in operations following the landing at Nassau Bay and the fighting for Roosevelt Ridge, Tambu Ridge, the Komiatum Ridge Trail, Scout Ridge and on Nuk Nuk.
