Awarded to TX5156 Lance Corporal Russell Douglas who served with 2/12 Infantry Battalion. Born in Sydney in 1915 he enlisted from Penguin, Tasmania, on 21 January 1941. After service in the North African and Pacific campaigns he was discharged on 8 January 1946.
