Burial ceremony at Kyfissa Cemetery, Greece, of NX441 Colonel (Col) William Elphinstone Kay DSO VD, 2/5 Australian General Hospital (5AGH), of Glen Innes, NSW. Col Kay was awarded a Distinguished Service Order (DSO) during the First World War, for "marked ability, zeal and devotion to duty during the period 22nd September 1917 to 24th February 1918". Col Kay was in charge of the Advanced Dressing Station at Ypres during this time. He died of wounds, 26 April 1941, in the Middle East.
