Studio portrait of NFX125936 Sister Myrle Mary Eileen Moston AANS, 2/3 Australian Hospital Ship Centaur, killed in action at sea after the Centaur was sunk by a torpedo from a Japanese submarine on 14 May 1943. Of the 322 crew and staff, only 64 survived, including Sister Ellen Savage, the only survivor from twelve nursing sisters.
