Description
Studio portrait of 3321 Private (Pte) Edwin James Tredgett, 7th Reinforcements, 24th Battalion, of Woodford, Vic. Pte Tredgett enlisted on 4 May 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Commonwealth in Melbourne on 26 November 1915. He was killed in action in the Villers Bretonneux area on 5 July 1918. His death is commemorated at the Villers Bretonneux Memorial in France.
