Description
Studio portrait of 1878 Private (Pte) Charles Frederick Aumann, 3rd Reinforcements, 21st Battalion, of Templestowe, Vic. Pte Aumann enlisted on 21 June 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Anchises in Melbourne on 26 August 1915. On 1 August 1916 he died of wounds in Pozieres, France. See also DA09812.
