We've Got to Keep on Saving
Description
British Second World War poster depicting a group of soldiers advancing through a destroyed village. The emphasis was placed upon the audience that just as those on the front lines continue to push forward, at home people should continue to save money.
The poster encourages its audience to save money as part of their effort towards post-war reconstruction. Personal savings would have aided in reconstruction most significantly through either war bonds, or by refraining from spending money on non-essential goods, reducing their demand and thereby allowing more resources to be dedicated towards the reconstruction effort.
