Cut the Last Three Inches of Your Loaf This Way
Description
British Second World War poster issued by the Ministry of Food advising how to eat the last three inches of a loaf so as to eat it while it's fresh. The image is a stylised graphic representation of a loaf of bread in diagrams accompanied by instructions for cutting it. The aim of the poster was to stop people from leaving the crust and thus waste food.
