Description
Studio portrait of 2791 Lance Corporal (LCpl) Percival Chapman, 9th Reinforcements, 6th Battalion, of Terang, Vic. LCpl Chapman enlisted on 6 June 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Star of Victoria on 10 September 1915. He later served as a corporal and died of wounds on 10 August 1918 at Pozieres, France. His brother Lieutenant J J Chapman, 9th Battalion, also served in the AIF.
