Description
A view of the pond with trees from the canteen hut in foreground and to the right are huts, Chalker's being No.5. In the distance is a Chedi, Buddhist temple, "a symbol of hope to us". Chalker was at Nakom Paton POW camp from late 1944 until July 1945. Verso: Chalker has listed some of the physiotherapy patients he looked after.
