Description
Studio portrait of 4751 Private (Pte) William Jennings Christie, 15th Reinforcements, 7th Battalion, of Buln Buln, Vic. Pte Christie enlisted on 26 August 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Wiltshire in Melbourne on 7 March 1916. He was serving with the 59th Battalion when he was killed in action on 19 July 1916 during the Battle of Fromelles, France. See also DA13898.
