Don't do it, Mother
Description
British Second World War poster issued by the Ministry of Health warning parents to keep their children in the 'safe areas'. During the Blitz, many city children were evacuated to the country, away from their families. This poster links the mother's desire to have her children returned with Hitler's will. The black and white image in the top third depicts a mother and her children, safe in the countryside with a ghost-like figure of Hitler imploring them to return to the city. Beneath the image is the title and message text.
