Description
Studio portrait of 2881 Private (Pte) Charles Todd, 9th Reinforcements, 14th Battalion, of Castlemaine, Vic. Pte Todd enlisted on 20 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Hororata on 27 September 1915. He was wounded at the Somme in France and died of disease in England on 18 July 1917. Pte Todd also had an uncle and cousin who served in the AIF.
