Description

The left hand fuselage half of the DH-98 Mosquito bomber aircraft in the factory in Annandale, NSW, where it was constructed. De Havilland took over the piano factory of Beale and Co Ltd to produce this part of the aircraft. A variety of Sydney furniture factories produced other components: Rickets and Thorp Pty Ltd, front spar; F Dickin Pty Ltd, rear spar; Bray and Halliday Pty Ltd, wing skins; Reilton and Griffin, tank doors.
