A4 photographic sheet of a portrait of Captain (Capt) Eric Robert Booth of the 8th Infantry Brigade, 29th Battalion. Capt Booth, of Ascot Vale, Vic, enlisted on 19 January 1915 as a Second Lieutenant. He was an engineer by profession when he embarked aboard HMAT Ascanius from Melbourne on 10 November 1915. He was killed in action on the 23 March 1917, in France, aged 24 years.
